Workshop: Statistical Network Analysis in R

Monday, January 29, 2024 10:00to12:00

Workshop Overview: A gentle introduction to the statistical analysis of network data, largely through the lens of the R package igraph. Topics to be covered include basic definitions and concepts in networks, manipulation and visualization of network data, and tools for describing network characteristics (including a brief look at node clustering, aka ‘community detection’). Material will be drawn largely from Chs 1-4 of Kolaczyk and Csardi (2020), Statistical Analysis of Network Data in R, 2ndÌý·¡»å¾±³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô.
