Abstract: The Canadian Light Source is a source of
intense beams of photons, covering an energy range from the
infrared to hard X-rays. Operating multiple beamlines which are
used by researchers from across the country, and around the world,
conducting research in three broad disciplines: Materials &
Molecular Science, Earth & Environmental Science, and Life
Sciences. One of its mandates is to provide an environment where
people from different disciplines, different institutions
(academic, industrial, government) and different nationalities can
meet and create new ideas.
