ECE Student Jhelum Chakravorty, was awarded the Best Student Paper Award at the 6th IFAC Workshop on Distributed Estimation and Control in Networked Systems (NecSys 2016) for her paper "Remote-state estimation with packet drop".聽 This award is given on originality, clarity, and potential impact on practical applications or theoretical foundations of estimation and control in networked systems.聽 Jhelum is supervised by Professor Aditya Mahajan.聽 Congratulations Jhelum!
