Prof. Hebdon recently was awarded a three-year Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council grant to study workplace conflict in Canada. This research will build on his earlier work on conflict and will be performed with Prof. Jean-Guy Bergeron of Universit茅 de Montr茅al. Prof. Hebdon's proposal for a workshop on privatization was accepted by the Program Committee of the 57th Annual Meeting of the Industrial Relations Research Association, to be held in Philadelphia in January of 2005.
