Students completing the Graduate Diploma in Translation (GDIT) must sit a comprehensive examination at the conclusion of the GDIT Program.听 The examination consists of an oral defense of a best-work portfolio.听 This portfolio represents a record of progress made by the candidate throughout his/her studies. 听Each candidate prepares a written introduction and comments on selected examples of coursework with a view to demonstrating his/her progress toward greater translation competence.

Under the baton of Maestro Gilles Auger, the I Medici di 海角社区 orchestra and piano soloist Kyoko Hashimoto will perform Ludwig van Beethoven鈥檚 Piano Concerto No. 5 and his famous Symphony No. 5. in a benefit concert to aid the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of Syria.

This benefit concert will be held at the Oscar Peterson Concert Hall 鈥 Concordia.

New Brunswick native awarded the 海角社区 Associates Prize in Translation

What better place to be immersed in bilingualism than Canada鈥檚 only province to have two official languages! That is the environment in which Julie Ulrich grew-up. She is the 2016 recipient of the 海角社区 Associates Prize in Translation (French-English). Ms Ulrich received this distinction at the spring graduation ceremony when she was awarded her Certificate in Translation.
