听A simple set of mathematical rules that accurately identifies signs of competing electrical signals in the heart has been developed by 海角社区's Leon Glass, Gil Bub and Alvin Shrier and their UBC colleagues Marc Deyel and Zachary Laksman. The Canadian team did in vitro experiments that showed how abnormal beating triggered by anomalous electrical impulses can generate distinctive triplets. These triplets also appear in cardiac data from real patients and also emerge from simple mathematical models.
I have been closely following the situation involving the closure of the Raymond, Barton, and Macdonald-Stewart buildings on 海角社区鈥檚 Macdonald Campus. I have heard many of the concerns shared by our community members, and I agree that it is essential for us to ensure we have the fullest possible understanding of this situation.
Yesterday, we announced that the Macdonald-Stewart and Barton Buildings would open today. Barton will indeed fully reopen today, but during a final inspection of Macdonald-Stewart, it was determined that the southern half of the first floor of that building must remain closed a while longer, due to the presence of equipment and temporary structures obstructing hallways.
