Biography: 

Reza Mirsalari is a dedicated software engineering professional and educator, currently teaching at Champlain College Saint Lambert, Concordia University, John Abbott College, and 海角社区 School of Continuing Studies in Montreal, Quebec. With a Ph.D. and a Master鈥檚 degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universit茅 de Montr茅al - 脡cole Polytechnique de Montr茅al, Reza has spent many years deepening his understanding of software quality assurance, development, and SharePoint technology.

Over the years, Reza has had the opportunity to work in various roles, including as a SharePoint Developer and Analyst at CSC and Technology Evaluation Centers. His work focused on improving software solutions, optimizing processes, and supporting SharePoint deployments. His time at Steel indusrty as an MIS Specialist allowed him to gain valuable experience in managing and maintaining critical software systems.

Reza鈥檚 academic journey has been complemented by his passion for teaching. He has taught a range of courses related to software quality and development, always aiming to help his students grasp the importance of creating reliable and efficient software. His research during his Ph.D. focused on developing methods for assessing software quality, which he has tried to validate in both academic and industrial environments.

Grateful for the recognition his work has received, including two Mitacs Fund awards, Reza remains committed to contributing to the field of software engineering. He has published several papers, hoping that his findings will benefit others in the industry. Fluent in English and French, Reza approaches his work with humility, always eager to learn and share knowledge with others. His goal is to continue supporting the development of high-quality software while helping his students and colleagues succeed.
