The Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences is happy to announce the appointment of Dr. Julia Cohen-Levy as Assistant Dean, Undergraduate Dental Education. As Assistant Dean she assists in matters related to the undergraduate dental curriculum and evaluation, the administration of academic policy and curriculum development for the DMD and DENT-P undergraduate dental medicine programs. She also ensures that courses are complete, current, and meet all accreditation standards and that all Faculty and University regulations are followed. Dr. Cohen-Levy is the co-Chair of Admissions and responsible for ensuring that the undergraduate program prepares students to become competent dentists who are qualified to take examinations for licensure.
Dr. Cohen-Levy has been an Assistant Professor of Orthodontics in the Faculty since 2020 and is Associate Director of the Division of Orthodontics.聽She is a certified specialist in Orthodontics, having graduated from both the Universit茅 de Paris 7 in France (CECSMO 2004) and Universit茅 de Montr茅al (DES 2020). She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics.
