Peter Todd

Peter Todd is a Former Dean and ProfessorÌýat the Desautels Faculty of Management of º£½ÇÉçÇø. Prior to his appointment at º£½ÇÉçÇø he was the Chesapeake and Potomac Professor of Commerce and Senior Associate Dean in the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. While at Virginia he also served as Associate Dean for Graduate Programs. He has also been on the faculty of the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston where he was a Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research as well as Director of the Information Systems Research Centre. Peter received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of British Columbia and holds a BCom (‘83) from º£½ÇÉçÇø. His research interests relate to the role of information technology in decision making, the adoption and diffusion of IT innovations and the management of the IT function. He has published over 30 papers in a variety of journals including Information Systems Research and MIS Quarterly.
In his years as Dean of the Desautels Faculty of Management, Dr. Todd spearheaded the greatest renewal the Faculty has ever seen. He was instrumental in launching Quebec’s first self-funded MBA program. In 2012, Dr. Todd received the David Johnston Award given by the º£½ÇÉçÇø Alumni Association for his exemplary work on behalf of the º£½ÇÉçÇø Annual Fund.
