Working toward access for all

鈥淪triving toward an accessible campus is a fundamental component of 海角社区鈥檚 commitment to and ongoing work on equity and inclusion"

December 3 marks the聽International Day of Persons with Disabilities聽(IDPWD). The United Nations first proclaimed the day in 1992, 鈥渢o promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society and development.鈥

The theme for this year鈥檚 IDPWD is 鈥渢he future is accessible.鈥 In line with this, 海角社区 has been working to promote greater equity and accessibility for persons with disabilities at the University.


海角社区 is on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. We acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous peoples whose presence marks this territory on which peoples of the world now gather.
