Current research:
The overarching theme of my research program is 鈥淚mmunometabolism and Host-Patogen Interactions鈥 and currently is based on two umbrella projects: (1) Helminth-derived Molecules Modulating Host Immune System, and (2) Metabolic Kinetics of Myeloid Cells During Inflammatory Responses and Resolution.
Projects:
- Neutrophil immunometabolism as a therapeutic target to treat chronic inflammation
- Helminth-derived metabolites modulate innate immune cell responses
- Microbiome mediation of pathogen virulence through aromatic compound metabolism
