Please be advised that º£½ÇÉçÇø has mandated Les Entreprises N.R. Brosseau inc. to carry out the following project: 20-201 Burnside Hall – 10th floor offices
¶Ù±ð²õ³¦°ù¾±±è³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô:ÌýRenovation of approximately 40% of the 10th floor for the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the Computational & Data Systems Initiative. The project includes the demolition and reconstruction of interior spaces as well as work on the electrical, plumbing and ventilation systems.
Construction start date: July 8th, 2024
Planned construction end date: January 17th, 2025
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Scope of work:
Work will include:
- demolition
- electrical work
- basic ventilation and distribution
- construction of interior partitions
- finishings (mouldings, skirting boards, painting)
- delivery of furniture and equipment
Impact & mitigation:
The work will create noise and vibrations that could be disruptive to occupants of adjacent spaces and floors. Users of sensitive equipment on the 9th, 10th and 11th floors should take precautionary measures or move equipment.
Safety considerations:
The project includes demolition work that may disrupt materials containing asbestos. All applicable safety protocols will be put in place. The safety protocols include dust-containment methods such as setting up enclosures to isolate the work area and putting it under negative pressure, as well as using specialized vacuuming equipment. It will also include cleaning and regular inspections.
