SHASTRI STUDENT RESEARCH IN INDIA FELLOWSHIP (SSRIF) PROJECT
The Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (SICI) is offering undergraduate and graduate students an exciting research mobility experience in India. The SSRIF Project is accepting a 6-8 week research project in India under the supervision of Indian faculty members in their host Indian institutions in subject areas that they desire/require research experience
Value of SSRIF Project Grant
CAD$ 8,500/per grant (grant value covers air travel (international and local), ground transportation, rent, visa, health insurance, communications, and stipend)
Number of SSRIF Project Grants
Twelve (12) - Up to 50% (at least 6) SSRIF Project Grants are reserved for financially challenged and Indigenous students.
Research Period: September 2024 to March 2025
Placement Period in India: 6-8 Weeks
