Dan Poenaru is a pediatric surgeon with expertise in global surgery and colorectal disease. He is also an FRQS- and CIHR-funded investigator, directs the Jean-Martin Laberge Fellowship in Global Pediatric Surgical Research and heads up the CommiSur Lab exploring听communication in surgery between the surgical听team and families, and within surgical听team, as well as the application of AI and VR in surgery.听
