Dr. Schiavetto is an associate member in the Department of Psychiatry at 海角社区 and a clinical neuropsychologist in the Division of Psychology in the Psychiatry Department of the Jewish General Hospital. In her clinical practice, she specializes in the evaluation of brain behaviour relationships in individuals suffering from psychiatric disorders. She is a consultant to all of adult psychiatry at JGH, so her expertise ranges from early adulthood to geriatrics. Indeed, geriatrics is an area of specialization she developed while completing her postdoctoral fellowship at the Rotman Research Institute in Toronto. Her clinical practice focuses on neuropsychological assessment of adult patients to chart cognitive profiles and inform treatment. Dr. Schiavetto has conducted research on hemispheric specialization, aging, and neurocognitive indices of personality disorders. She is currently involved in research on individuals suffering from a first episode of psychosis. She is actively involved in teaching and supervision of both residents and interns. She supervises the adult neuropsychology practicum at the Universit茅 de Montr茅al. She is also active in professional development through her activities as a board member on the Ordre des Psychologues du Quebec, where for the past six years, she has contributed in a number of activities and committees. For the past four years, she has also been a reviewer on the fellowships committee of the Ontario Mental Health Foundation.
