Historique : A regional perspective (based on responsible instructor) to explore relevant pandemics over the long term, introducing the broader historical trends and impacts. The hidden dynamics of social, cultural, legal, and intellectual history while also helping us cope with current and future pandemics reasonably and responsibly. While providing basic medical and epidemiological information, its primary focus falls on the social and political contexts for--and responses to--each pandemic covered.
