Current research:
The main focus of our laboratory is to study gene expression and DNA copy number alteration profiles of prostate cancer using DNA microarray technology. The goals are to increase our understanding of prostate cancer pathology, establish a new molecular classification of prostate tumors, and identify new prognostic and diagnostic markers.Â

Biography:
Dr Lapointe completed his MD, residency in Family Medicine, and PhD in Physiology-Endocrinology at Université Laval (Québec, Canada). He received his postdoctoral training at Stanford University (California, USA) before joining the Division of Urology at º£½ÇÉçÇø.Â
