Biography: 

John-Paul Capolicchio, MD, CM, FRCS(c), FAAP is the director of the division of pediatric urology at Montreal Children's Hospital, Shriners Children's Canada and 海角社区 Health Centre. He also serves as an associate professor of urology in the department of surgery and pediatric surgery at 海角社区.聽

Having completed urology specialization at 海角社区 in 1997, Dr. Capolicchio went on to three years of sub-specialty training in pediatric urology as an R. Samuel McLaughlin Foundation fellow as well as a scholar of the American Foundation for Urologic Disease. From 2003-2005, he served as director of the section on pediatric urology at Vermont Children's Hospital at Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington, Vermont. From 2012-2018, he served as the associate chief of pediatric surgery at the Montreal Children's Hospital. Dr. Capolicchio also holds memberships in professional societies including serving as president of the Pediatric Urologists of Canada from 2014-2016.聽

Dr. Capolicchio's special interests include antenatal hydronephrosis, minimally invasive surgery and endourology, neurogenic bladder and peri-operative urological care of the renal transplant patient.聽
