Biography: 

Dr. G茅raldine Merle is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at 海角社区. With advanced training from ENSCM-UM2 (M.Sc.), IEM (Ph.D.), and postdoctoral research at the University of Twente and 海角社区, she is a leading expert in biochemistry, electrochemistry, biomedical materials, and biomaterials.聽

Dr. Merle's research focuses on:聽

  • Bio-electrochemistry and its applications.聽

  • The design and evaluation of advanced diagnostic devices.聽

  • Development of nanostructures and innovative biomaterials for infection prevention and treatment.聽

  • Novel therapies for bone tissue formation, supported by in vitro and pre-clinical studies.聽

She holds the TransMedTech Research Chair in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologies and is a member of the Institut de g茅nie biom茅dical. Dr. Merle's work spans diverse fields, including biomedical technology, biomaterials, and materials science, and she is recognized for her contributions to electrochemistry and surface and interfacial chemistry.聽

Her interdisciplinary research aims to advance medical diagnostics and therapeutic technologies, with a particular focus on improving patient outcomes through innovative materials and techniques.聽
