Diagnosis:
This is聽Metorchis conjunctus聽an Opisthorchid, as is聽Opistorchis听补苍诲听颁濒辞苍辞谤肠丑颈蝉. Infection is acquired by eating an uncooked fish, the common sucker聽Catostomus commersoni,聽 and has been found to infect aboriginal communities from Saskatchewan to Quebec. (ref. Lancet 1996)
