You can now choose which news and events your site visitors view first with 鈥淪ticky to the top of lists鈥�. This useful feature was activated for channel event items earlier this year and is now available for news items, too!
To make new channel news and events items 鈥渟ticky鈥�, be sure to check the 鈥淪ticky at the top of lists鈥� checkbox (found on the Publishing options鈥� tab). You can also edit an existing channels item to activate or deactivate 鈥淪ticky at the top of lists鈥�.
Once the item is made sticky, it will remain at the top of the list in your channels blocks, even when new items are created.

In the example below, the item at the top of the list, dated April 21, remains at the top while more recently created events appear underneath.
