A research project led by Prof. Martin Drapeau is looking for study participants regarding student life听experiences at the university level. The study examines the experience of students in universities across Canada, with a focus on campus climate, and involves researchers from 海角社区, the University of Manitoba, the University of British Columbia, and Vancouver Community College. It has received ethics approval from 海角社区 (REB#21-08-013) and partner universities.

The We Will Walk Together / Sk脿tne Entewathah矛ta听event began at 海角社区鈥檚 Faculty of Education in 2019, in honour of Orange Shirt Day. The initiative was driven by a small enthusiastic committee that organized听a march at Mount Royal to raise awareness and express sentiments of unity and inclusion between Indigenous peoples and non-Indigenous allies.
COVID-19 Research-to-Practice: Enhancing Online Mental Health Resource Provision for Adolescents 鈥 Phase 2
A research group is looking for the help of pre-service mental health professionals working in schools to evaluate the usefulness of an infographic tool supporting the selection of online mental health resources for adolescents.
As President of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), ECP's Dr. Ada Sincacore was interviewed by CBC about the need for better EDI practices to encourage more diversity among psychology professionals.
"The CPA recognizes that there is a problem of representation within the profession and that we need to increase representation, as well as literacy about diversity," said Sinacore.

Dr. Dennis C. Wendt was co-awarded the 2021 Distinguished Early Career Contributions in Qualitative Inquiry Award from the American Psychological Association's Division of Quantitative and Qualitative Methods (Division 5). It was noted by the Division that: "Since earning his PhD in 2015, Dennis Wendt has been incredibly prolific and has made substantive contributions to qualitative inquiry in psychology."
