About Reading Abbott
Maude Abbott loved to read. This exhibition explores both what she read and ways we can read her life story. While many publications on the famous doctor have focused on the barriers she faced in a male-dominated profession, this exhibition places Abbott among her favourite authors, texts, and locations. At its heart are Abbott鈥檚 five diaries. These precious journals record her daily activities, meetings, travels, meals, health, friends, books, and even her hair appointments.

| In this session, students learn about effective methods for communication and challenge themselves to consider potential obstacles when communicating cross-culturally. Students will leave this session with a toolkit of useful communication strategies, including methods for active listening. |

The session will feature a short presentation on cybersecurity incidents, available resources and some best practices, before providing an opportunity for attendees to "query the panel" on your cybersecurity questions.
