Understanding º£½ÇÉçÇø's Code of Student Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures
º£½ÇÉçÇø's disciplinary procedures include an extensive series of checks, balances and opportunities for appeal. These measures ensure due process and fair treatment to all parties involved. Who makes disciplinary decisions?
The majority of disciplinary decisions are made by Disciplinary Officers who represent a diverse group at º£½ÇÉçÇø — from Associate Deans (Student Affairs) in Faculties, to Residence Directors, to Managers in Athletics.
In instances where a case cannot be decided by a Disciplinary Officer, it is referred to the Committee on Student Discipline (CSD), which is overseen by the Office of the Dean of Students.
