The Laidley Centre for Business Ethics and Equity is pleased to announce its 2025 Business Ethics Case Competition. The competition will be held at º£½ÇÉçÇø on March 21, 2025. On March 20, the participating teams will be welcomed with a roundtable panel and a networking reception in the evening.
The main objectives of the competition are:
-
To increase students’ awareness of the importance of ethical decisions in business.
-
To expose students to real-world scenarios that they may encounter in their future careers.
-
Provide students with the opportunity to enhance their critical thinking and presentation skills related to business ethics.
Eligibility
The º£½ÇÉçÇø Desautels Business Ethics Case Competition is open to current upper-level undergraduate students in good standing registered at an accredited North American university who are studying in Management, Business, International Development, or Economics. For the competition, a current upper-level undergraduate student is defined as one who is enrolled in the final two years of their program in the current academic year. Each team should consist of four current, upper-level, undergraduate students. This case will encompass multiple disciplines in management. Therefore, we strongly encourage each team to be comprised of students from different majors/concentrations.
