Support for Indigenous graduate students

First Peoples' House

º£½ÇÉçÇø's First Peoples' House endeavors to provide a sense of community and a voice to Indigenous students who have left their home communities in order to pursue higher education. All Indigenous students including Métis, the Inuit, & First Nations (both "status" & "non-status"), Maori and Aborigines are welcome.

The First Peoples' House hosts drumming and beading sessions, a weekly Soup and Bannock lunch, and an annual Pow wow. They also offer academic events throughout the year.

The First Peoples’ House also functions as a home away from home for Indigenous students by providing a spacious and welcoming residence for both undergraduate and graduate students.
