Emeritus Professor John W. Durnford (1929鈥2017)

Montreal, 1 December 2017 鈥 The Faculty of Law has learned with deep sadness of the passing of Professor Emeritus John W. Durnford on Thursday, 30 November 2017, at the age of 88. His death is a grievous loss to the 海角社区 Law community.

Call for applications: 2018 International Clerkships Program

海角社区鈥檚 Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism (CHRLP) is currently accepting applications for:

a twelve-month clerkship at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA); a ten-month clerkship at the International Court of Justice (ICJ); a nine-month clerkship at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR)

All three clerkships are due to start in September 2018.

Professors Andrea Bjorklund and Kun Fan named Norton Rose Fulbright Faculty Scholars in Arbitration & Commercial Law

The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that Professor Andrea Bjorklund, L. Yves Fortier Chair in International Arbitration and International Commercial Law, and Professor Kun Fan have been appointed Norton Rose Fulbright Faculty Scholars in Arbitration and Commercial Law. Professor Bjorklund was appointed for one year; Professor Fan, for three years.
