Materials Research Day - an interdisciplinary celebration of materials research

Date: November 15, 2023 | Time: 8:30 – 4:30 PM | Free event
Location: New Residence Hall, 3625 Parc Avenue

Register by Friday, November 10

The º£½ÇÉçÇø Institute for Advanced Materials (MIAM) and the Facility for Electron Microscopy Research (FEMR) invite you to Materials Research Day.Ìý

Join us for an interdisciplinary celebration of materials research at º£½ÇÉçÇø and beyond. With 14 distinguished speakers, including Professor Antonio Facchetti (Georgia Tech), this event offers insights into the multifaceted realm of materials research, spanning topics such as biomedical detection, advanced microscopy, and characterization techniques.Ìý

You’ll also discover the innovative capabilities of º£½ÇÉçÇø's facilities and the cutting-edge techniques driving progress in the field.Ìý

A poster session will be held for the final hour of the event. We invite attendees to prepare research posters, offering an excellent platform for sharing research findings, exchanging techniques, and exploring potential collaborations.
