On July 18, 2016 at 3:15 a.m., I was working at the airport when I began to suffer severe chest pains.
My first passengers came to my counter, and I could not speak. I tried to push the words out of my mouth and all I got was silence followed by bad stuttering.
My immediate supervisor called the airport paramedics, who then called an ambulance. I was rushed to Verdun Hospital at 4:15 a.m., and at 5:20 a.m., the ER doctor told me they were going to transfer me to The Neuro.
For the next 36 hours, the team at The Neuro led my Dr. Benjamin Lo performed听test after test non-stop. Everyone at The Neuro was exceptional. I had never been hospitalized in my life. I was always the visitor or companion. This was a bit frightening, frustrating, and quite an emotional roller coaster ride for me.
I am now learning about my medical situation and how to live a healthier and happier life. The entire staff at The Neuro are outstanding and exceptional. I have never experienced the total professional care and compassion this hospital offers.
The interns are learning from the best in the world. I personally do not like hospitals or clinics, yet at The Neuro I feel at home as all my needs are attended to in a courteous and friendly manner.
