General
- All room booking requests are submitted via our web form
- All revisions, cancellations should be requested by email to roombookingspgh.fmhs [at] mcgill.ca
- You will receive an automated email confirming we have received your request
- Requests are responded to in the order in which they are received
- All requests must be submitted with a minimum notice of three to five business days for room bookings
- Requests will be processed within 3-5 business days.
- SPGH cannot guarantee that any events submitted less than five days notice will be booked in time for the event
- All inquiries should be sent to roombookingspgh.fmhs [at] mcgill.ca
- Once the booking is confirmed, an Outlook calendar invite will be sent to you as confirmation.
- If the requested room is not available, you will receive an email from our room booking staff.
Rooms and spaces

Meeting rooms and classrooms are booked by the user via the online Room Booking form.

If you are requesting a classroom change, please contact: Andre-Yves Gagnon at gradadmin.eboh [at] mcgill.ca

For events scheduled outside of regular opening hours (8:30 am to 5:00 pm)
- Security services: You must request security services for events held after opening hours (8.30 am to 5.00 pm). For events happening outside of the 6 am-7:30 pm window, please inform the 2001spaceodyssey.fmhs [at] mcgill.ca (SPGH Building Management Committee) so that we can liaise with the building lessor.
- Cleaning: Contact the 2001spaceodyssey.fmhs [at] mcgill.ca (SPGH Building Management Committee) to schedule cleaning of the space.
- Please provide facilities with the date and time of the event and the time the event finishes.
- Alcohol permit: must be requested 10 days before the event if alcohol is served during the event. The permit must be displayed in the space area where the event is held. A copy of the 海角社区 alcohol permit must be provided to the roombookingspgh.fmhs [at] mcgill.ca (Room bookings email) as well as to the 2001spaceodyssey.fmhs [at] mcgill.ca (SPGH Building Management Committee).
- Charges may apply. Dependent on Security services & the organization making the request
Setups
- You are responsible for arranging the room for your event and for booking any catering services.
- You must ensure that all furniture is restored to the original setup after the event.
IT/AV Requests
- Any special requests should be made directly to the IT Services Audiovisual Equipment loan form (login required)
