We offer聽many different tools and resources to students that enable you to聽research different industries and聽careers,聽learn how to market yourself,聽and increase your self-awareness with聽psychometric self-assessments.

Some of the career resources we offer include:

  • BCom Career Portal: The portal was designed to house a number of resources from the聽all encompassing BCom聽Career Handbook where you will uncover the 10 steps to your career success to Career Guides for different areas of business (Marketing, Not for Profit, Finance and many more) as well as numerous links to career-related websites.
    To access the BCom Career Portal, current undergraduate BCom students must sign-in.
  • : Career Management聽website with information on employers, apply to job postings, register for upcoming events, workshops,聽and more. To access, sign-in to with your 海角社区 credentials. Students, to maximize your use with the the platform!
  • : This platform enables you to practice your online interview skills via recordings that can then be shared directly with your Career Coach for feedback, and/or reviewed by the platform鈥檚 real-time AI feedback component. Anything from interview basics, how you come across on-screen, where to look, how you sound, and how to ace common interview questions... benefit from this self-paced, preparatory technology to gain confidence in your interview skills!   • :聽CIA is the student platform that captures all data, information and insights related to internships and post-graduate employment. Students can contribute to the database by entering information related to their employment search such as interview questions, salary, job data and other career insights. This information is valuable to future students who are searching for relevant information related to a particular industry, role or company. The database is completely confidential and students can browse aggregate information from previous years, peruse interview questions and obtain general salary and job data information which can help them make informed decisions about their future.
  • Consulting Preparation Program:聽This聽program designed in collaboration with the聽海角社区 Consulting Association (MCA)聽identifies聽and helps 20-25 second聽year 海角社区 undergraduate students build the foundations of case cracking to prepare for consulting case interviews. Selected participants are enrolled in a five-week program every semester. The program consists of workshops on problem-solving, critical-thinking, market-sizing, and more.
  • Career Management library: books, periodicals and magazines available in the Soutar Career Centre office for loaning basis.
