Hat Trick For Daniel Boyer
The Faculty of Law was delighted to learn that our colleague Daniel Boyer (BA鈥�79, MLIS鈥�88), Head Librarian of the Nahum Gelber Law Library, was named Associate Dean of User Services of the 海角社区 Library for a two-year mandate.
As well, Me Boyer has also been named to the board of directors of the Soci茅t茅 qu茅b茅coise d'information juridique (SOQUIJ) for a period of five years, following the recommendation of the Deans of law faculties across Quebec.
Daniel Weinstock to direct 海角社区鈥檚 Institute for Health and Social Policy

John G. Murphy, managing partner at Borden Ladner Gervais (BLG), is extremely proud of the efforts made by a team headed by H. John Godber (BCL'88, LLB'88) and Neil Hazan (BCL/LLB'02) to support 海角社区 Faculty of Law鈥檚 Paul-Andr茅 Cr茅peau Centre for Private and Comparative Law. The fundraising activity, which brought in $400,000 from BLG鈥檚 lawyers and partners across Canada, ended this month.
Ronald Niezen inaugural incumbent of the Pearson Chair in Civil Society and Public Policy
