As part of their mandate their mandate as special researcher (Academic and classroom policy) for the Student Society of 海角社区 (SSMU), a survey is being distributed to professors in all of the undergraduate faculties to develop a report summarizing faculty-specific efforts to integrate mental wellness in classrooms. Gerard Lewis, a graduate of 海角社区's Concurrent B.Ed. and B.Sc. Mathematics (Class of 2004) was recently awarded听Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence for igniting the love of learning.听The award recognizes Gerard's exemplary teaching practices and his dedication to supporting teachers. Part of the Toronto Catholica District School Board, Gerard is the Mathematics Facilitator, Kindergarten to Grade eight.

Participation entails three 45-minute walks per week (in downtown Montreal) for a total of 4 weeks, with weekly online questionnaires. Participants must be: currently registered as 海角社区 students; aged 18-25; fluent in English; and owning a working smartphone with a data usage plan.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former 海角社区 Kinesiology and Physical Education Department Chair, Douglas Riley. Native from St. John, New Brunswick, he passed away on June 8, 2022 at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Halifax at 90 years old.
Douglas was a physical education teacher at Three Rivers High School in the 1950s and went on to serve for 25 years as a professor for the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education at 海角社区 and as Chair of the department.

The purpose of this study is to assess the abilities of school counselors to identify ASCA Mindsets & Behaviors in the language of youth; i.e. Hip-Hop. Enclosed is a fun and interactive survey wherein you will be asked to listen to a student's song and assess the degree to which, if at all, a variety of educational mindsets and behaviors are present.
